DELIVERY TIMES & COST
Fakoshima online store uses International Express Delivery Services for all orders, to ensure you always receive your order as fast as possible. Fakoshima offers free delivery to all international destinations. We aim to deliver within 3 working days from the date the order is placed. Any delay in shipment due to either carrier issues and/or exceptional or particular conditions related to the specific country is not under our responsibility. Some delay may occur during public national Holidays at the country of destination.
Please note that your order might face additional charges upon import clearance at the country of destination. The International Fakoshima online store displays prices free of any duty and taxes. Fakoshima ships all online orders from the Hong Kong. When Items are shipped from overseas into the delivery country, it is considered an importation and must be cleared by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). When an individual or company purchases goods from an overseas supplier, CBP considers them the ultimate importer. The ultimate importer can clear the goods or have a broker clear them on their behalf. If you have any concerns over this procedure, we advise you to visit your country's governmental website and seek information on importation, duty and tax charges. Please note that you will be required to provide additional personal information to the International Express Delivery Service in order to clear the item through customs. Fakoshima is not liable for late delivery if this information has not been provided.
DELIVERY TO THE US
Fakoshima ships all online orders from the Hong Kong. When Items are shipped from overseas into the United States, it is considered an importation and must be cleared by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). When an individual or company purchases goods from an overseas supplier, CBP considers them the ultimate importer. The ultimate importer can clear the goods or have a broker clear them on their behalf. If you have any concerns over this procedure, we advise you to visit the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection website for more information.
The receiver will be contacted by our shipping partner once the item is in the possession of the US customs, and requested to provide the requested information. Failing to respond within 10 days will cause the items to be returned to Fakoshima. This procedure can be either quick or lengthily, and is highly dependent on your reach-ability and cooperation. A prompt response when you are asked to provide information, will significantly speed up the importation and your order can be with you within 3-4 days.
DELIVERY TO RUSSIA
Considering the latest changes in Russian custom legislation, for our customers in Russia in most cases we’ll try to deliver ordered items from our warehouse in Moscow by the local express delivery service to avoid any delays, additional custom duties and taxes.
It is important to us at Fakoshima that you are happy with your glasses, which means that if you are not fully satisfied with the item you received you can send it back to us within 14 days of receipt. Unfortunately we do not have a returns service in place at the moment, and you will be required to make your own arrangements through any postal carrier. Please note it is very important that when you return an item, we know the order number it relates to and your details. Fakoshima cannot take liability for returned items that are lost or misdirected on their way back to us, which is why we highly recommend all returns to be recorded and trackable. In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition. All goods will be inspected on return and any item in unsuitable condition will be sent back to you.
Returning an item is simple, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number and the reason for the return. If the sunglasses you have bought through Fakoshima online store are faulted in some way (although we always make them pass our quality controls before), we will have to verify the fault with detailed pictures. Once the defect will be verified and certified from us through pictures, we will pay the return shipment and provide either shipping a substitution item or refunding you the cost of the sunglasses.
If you are not able to send us pictures of the defected item, shipment will be at your expenses. Once we receive the item and verify the damage, we will proceed either refunding the cost of the sunglasses plus the cost of the original shipment paid OR sending a substitution item plus refunding the cost of the original shipment paid. We don't provide refund or substitution shipment if we don't verified the damaged item through either pictures or the physical item in our hands.
As soon as we get them, if they are in perfect conditions, we'll refund the whole price of the sunglasses (without the shipment cost), or ship another pair. If the cost of the sunglasses in exchange is higher than the first one bought, you'll have to pay the balance, if it's lower we'll refund the difference. In any case, please note that the new shipment will be charged to you.
It can take up to 7 days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use. However once we receive them, we will inspect and process the goods within 1-2 business days to ensure you receive what you want as quickly as possible. As soon as your return is processed, and we are confident the goods are in their original condition, we will send you an email confirming the action we have taken. Any refund will automatically be issued to the card used to make the original purchase and you will be contacted via email with a refund confirmation.
In case the carrier does not succeed in delivering the item (because of either wrong address or absence of the recipient), we will advise the customer (as soon as the carrier informs us) trying to reach him/ her via email and/or via telephone if needed. If the carrier eventually ships the item back to us because of no response, from the customer, and you still want to get the sunglasses, you'll have to pay for another shipment, otherwise we'll refund the cost of the sunglasses bought (without the shipment cost).
